Localization of Lesion in Denial of Hemiplegia After Acute Stroke

Article Abstract
Analysis of the CT scans demonstrated that 26 of 30 denial patients had unilateral right-sided lesions that this group showed significantly higher incidence of lesions in deep white matter and the basal ganglia.The results are discussed in relation to recent ideas regarding the role of the basal ganglia and subcortical circuits in movement and executive function.
